Perfectly positioned for touring the whole of Devon and Cornwall there are a wealth of popular beaches and sheltered coves as well as attractions to suit all tastes which include Dartmoor, Bodmin Moor, Launceston Steam Railway, The Eden Project, Roadford Lake water sports and visitor centre, numerous National Trust properties and Gardens, golf, riding and more. All properties are solidly built stone or masonry buildings with slated roofs surrounded by gardens and lawns landscaped in local stone, and provide a high standard of accommodation and comfort. All have fine views to the south over Braddon Lake and Dartmoor, and are in a quiet secluded setting at the end of a long drive. The 3 acre spring-fed lake has excellent coarse fishing and has two islands, a jetty, a rowing boat, garden seats and picnic table. There is a solidly built all weather summerhouse with a BBQ fireplace, ideal for bird watching near the lake. There are 150 acres of parkland and woodland, pleasant walks on the newly created stone pathways that meander through the woodlands, along the streams and around the lake (the stone footpath is wheelchair friendly). There is an all weather tennis court (with basketball), a games field with football posts, two swings, slides, sandpits, a carpeted snooker room with full-size table, and separate children's room with snooker and table tennis.
