This detached cottage is situated on the edge of the village of Bradworthy and is an ideal base in which to enjoy all that the North Devon and North Cornwall coasts have to offer. The cottage is situated within easy walking distance to the village square which hosts a pub, convenience store, shops, post office and church. The sandy beaches at Bude and Westward Ho! are only a short drive away and the smaller sandy coves of Sandymouth and Duckpool are also very popular. Lots to see and do in the area with sailing, fishing, walking and a variety of watersports available at the nearby Tamar Lakes. Other attractions worth a visit are The Big Sheep and The Milky Way, both family theme parks offering all-weather activities for visitors of all ages. For those looking to explore further afield, The Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are ideal for a day's adventure.
The cosy accommodation offers THREE bedrooms: 1 double and 1 twin room upstairs, together with small bathroom with bath (shower over). Height restrictions max 5' 8" apply. Downstairs there is 1 double bedroom. Also downstairs there is a lounge with feature fireplace and woodburner, TV/DVD and CD, and comfy sofas. Dining room with access to downstairs bedroom. This room also has wooden ladder-style steps which give access to a galleried seating area with small TV/DVD, ideal for older children/teenagers. These steps can be secured out of reach of younger visitors. Kitchen/diner has rayburn, electric cooker, hob, microwave, washer/dryer, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and many useful extras. Separate shower room with shower cubicle, washbasin and WC. Outside to the front of the property is a gravelled parking area enclosed by a 5 bar gate. A pathway leads to the rear of the cottage and an area ideal for sitting out with garden furniture and BBQ. Strictly no smoking in the property. Regret no pets. Electric and bed linen included. Cylinder gas also included but a £30 per week surcharge is added from 1st Oct - 30th April. |
