FISHERMANS COTTAGE ON THE WATERFRONT IN APPLEDORE
Family owned for 65 years, and positioned on the river side of Irsha Street, this former fisherman's cottage, looks out over the estuary, where at high tide you can try your hand at fishing over the sea wall, or just enjoy watching the boats go by. Appledore's busy quayside has a variety of fishing and boat trips. Take a short drive over to Instow and wander along the beach, or relax in the sand dunes, or alternatively just potter around Appledore's quaint streets, taking the time to enjoy a bite to eat and a drink or two in the many pubs and restaurants in the village. Westward Ho!, with its 3 miles of golden sands, is less than a 5 minute drive, and also close by are a variety of popular attractions including Clovelly, The Big Sheep, The Milky Way and Tapeley House and Gardens to name but a few.
The homely accommodation offers TWO bedrooms: 1 double and 1 twin, 1 having views over the estuary. Bathroom with bath, shower over and WC. Downstairs lounge with gas fire, TV and video (with selection of videos). Kitchen/diner with gas convector heater and views out over the estuary. Washing machine, microwave, electric cooker and fridge/freezer. Rear patio area accessed down external steps, with small WC, garden furniture and BBQ. Roadside parking close by. Bed linen, gas and electric all included. 1 pet welcome. Beach 5 minute drive, shops and pubs walking distance. |
