There are some popular gardens to visit which include Docton Mill, RHS Rosemoor Gardens and numerous National Trust properties and gardens.The area also has great cycle tracks, The Tarka Trail and The Granite Way, both easily accessible. There are a choice of long sandy surfing beaches and sheltered coves to the North and West to explore, and at the end of the day enjoy a meal and a drink in the popular village inn which is right opposite the property. The ideal places to visit are the old market towns of Hatherleigh and Holsworthy.
