The river provides a wide range of recreational pursuits including yachting, rowing, fishing and bathing and the surfing beaches of Westward Ho!, Saunton Sands and Croyde are all easily accessible. Cyclists can enjoy the Tarka Trail which is adjacent to the property and offers delightful walks in picturesque countryside. There is so much to see and do in the area with attractions to suit all tastes which include The Big Sheep, The Milky Way, Dartington Crystal, RHS Rosemoor Gardens and much more. Stroll into the town where there is an array of small shops, restaurants and good quality pubs and in the evenings have a BBQ and relax on the large decked area enjoying the views. Lounge/diner: open-plan with fully-glazed panoramic wall with french doors leading to the deck, flatscreen TV, DVD, Freeview, Sky, hi-fi with iPod dock and 2 open fires (first bag of coal included over winter months). Second sitting room with woodburner, TV, DVD, Freeview, Sky and french doors leading to deck. Kitchen: located off the lounge/diner, well-equipped, farmhouse style with Aga, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave. Utility: with washing machine and tumble dryer. Outside: large enclosed gardens and decking with hot tub, seating and BBQ (first bag of charcoal provided in summer). Care should be taken with small children in the outside spaces. Amenities: ample off-road parking for 4-5 cars on the gated, private driveway. Bed linen, towels, electric, central heating and wi-fi included. 2 dogs welcome.
