In the evening, stroll to the village square with its shops and pubs serving excellent bar meals. You will also be a short drive to a variety of attractions with something to suit everyone including The Big Sheep, The Milky Way, The Gnome Reserve, numerous National Trust properties, Clovelly with its steep stepped cobbled streets and fishing trips, Dartington Crystal, Tamar Otter and Wild Wood, Launceston Steam Railway and more. The sandy family beaches of Widemouth Bay, Bude and Westward Ho! are all close by. The towns of Holsworthy and Bideford are also nearby and offer weekly open air markets, swimming pools and other sports recreations, plus a wide range of shops, pubs and restaurants. For those who enjoy wildlife and walks, take a trip to the Tamar Lakes also famous for its birdwatching and watersports. Fishing extra (£6 per day or £25 per week - half price for children).
