If you can tear yourself away from the property and wish to explore the area, the cottage is close to many interesting attractions including the RHS gardens at Rosemoor, Dartington Crystal, Tapeley Park, Burton Art Gallery, The Milky Way, 1646 offering historic entertainment at Torrington and The Big Sheep. There are beautiful sandy beaches, numerous small coves and rugged cliffs to explore, or there is walking and cycling on the local Tarka Trail through the countryside or along the coast and estuary. All of these are within a 15 minute drive. Visitors can also get into the countryside spirit with clay target shooting, horse riding and fly and coarse fishing can be arranged locally.
