The antiques centre of South Molton is 4 miles, and Barnstaple's pannier market and sports facilities are 9 miles. The countryside around the farm is criss-crossed with footpaths and cycle-ways and has local access to the pretty Tarka Trail, once a single track railway which offers wonderful circular walks. Coarse fishing (barbless hooks) is available on the farm free of charge.
