This stylish lodge sits in a glorious location close to the stunning North Devon Heritage Coastline with miles of sandy beaches within easy reach. There is a lot to see and do, with the unique and picturesque villages of Clovelly and Appledore, being a must! The seaside towns of Bude and Westward Ho! are also nearby with Bude offering extensive beaches as well as a good range of facilities and shops. A trip on the "Oldenburg" to Lundy Island is also a popular day out. For children, the area has an abundance of attractions such as The Milky Way and The Big Sheep. The water sports centre at Tamar Lakes offers sailing, windsurfing and canoeing.
On site, visitors are welcome to wander through the woodland copses, along the river bank and enjoy the abundant wildlife, with birds and otters; you may even see the occasional wild deer making an appearance. A footpath from the site gives access to the adjacent countryside and the 1000 acres of Hartland Forest.
Guests are welcome to use the leisure facilities and enjoy the entertainment at Penstowe Manor in the neighbouring village of Kilkhampton which includes a 22 metre tropically heated indoor pool, sauna, jacuzzi, table tennis, squash, badminton indoor bowls and sports hall. Guests can purchase a leisure pass to suit the number in their party and length of stay.
The lodge has been built to a high specification and offers everything needed for an enjoyable holiday. The lounge area has a TV, hi-fi, video, CD and DVD. The well-equipped kitchen has built-in oven and hob, fridge, freezer, microwave and dishwasher and all the equipment to cater for your stay. There is individual parking for each lodge. Bed linen, towels and electric included. Shops and pub 2 miles. Beach 8 miles. Arrival time 4pm.
The accommodation offers TWO Bedrooms: 1 king-size double with en-suite shower room and WC. 1 twin. Family bathroom with bath and WC. A sofa bed is available for additional accommodation. Freeview is also available in this property. Cot and highchair available. Patio doors leading out onto a patio/decked area. Well behaved dogs by arrangement.
