These beautiful, converted barns are set in a quiet location close to the owner's 16th century thatched farmhouse, yet a short distance to the many leisure facilities, family attractions and huge selection of bars, restaurants, cafés and pubs in the regional centre of Barnstaple. The glorious sandy beach of Westward Ho! and the surfing paradise of Croyde, Woolacombe and Saunton are all less than half an hours drive. There are a number of circular walks direct from the property which takes in the excellent Hunters Inn at the nearby village of Newton Tracey, being less than 4 miles away and serving good food, it is an ideal way to build up your appetite. Alternatively why not just sit and relax on your own private patio and enjoy the peace and tranquillity. All in all, an ideal holiday location.
The barns have been transformed from former farm buildings with great care and attention paid to ensure the highest specification, character features such as beams and stonework have been exposed. Farm activities: come and see the horses, ducks, chickens and cats. Visitors are also welcome to feed the ducks or see the owner's horses by arrangement. Visitors are welcome to walk over the owner's farmland which includes a nature trail along a small river and sit and watch the wildlife by the lakes. Games barn: heated with pool table, table football, table ice hockey and small ball pit. Play facilities: shared swings, slide and trampoline. Outside: there is a large shared lawn area which visitors are encouraged to use and is ideal for ball games. Picnic area. Amenities: all of the properties have ample parking close to the barns. Stairgates are available on request. Bed linen, electric, central heating and wi-fi included. Towels for hire.
