A friendly welcome awaits you at Hillash. This delightful half of the spacious farmhouse offers comfortable and well-equipped accommodation and offers families room to spread out and relax. The large rear patio area with garden furniture and barbeque are ideal for alfresco lunches or evening drinks while children can play on the raised lawn which is great for all types of ball games but also has swings for the smaller visitors. There is also a small enclosed front garden where little ones can witness all the comings and goings of the farm tractors. The friendly horses are kept in the field behind and are always happy to see new faces, as are the farm cats and family labrador, Suzy. Situated close to the North Devon and North Cornwall coastline, Hillash is convenient for visiting the superb sandy beaches at either Westward Ho! or Bude, both being approximately a 20 minute drive. Try your hand at surfing, or if that sounds too daunting how about body boarding? Wetsuits, surfboards and body boards can be hired from both beaches. There are also mant local attractions near by including The Milky Way, The Big Sheep, Dartington Crystal and RHS Rosemoor Gardens. For those of you just wanting to enjoy the peace and quiet why not take a stroll up to the village pub and enjoy a drink, or alternatively build up your appetite by walking through the owners fields and woodland down to the stream.
The accommodation offers THREE bedrooms all in a traditional cottage style (2 with handbasins): 1 double room with junior cot/bed, a further double and 1twin bedroom. Bathroom with bath and WC. Lounge with TV, DVD player and hi-fi. Dining room. Kitchen with washing machine, fridge, freezer, microwave and small dishwasher. Ample parking. Bed linen and electric included.
