Lee Chapel and the School House have been discerningly converted to an extremely high standard, combining historic character with contemporary design to give genuine charm and comfort. The peaceful village of Lee Bay is a 10 minute drive from the popular beaches of Woolacombe and Croyde and is on the edge of Exmoor. Lee Bay has a traditional pub, serving great food, real ales and cream teas, the bay offers breathtaking scenery, coastal walks and when the tide is out a golden sandy beach ideal for the children, offering swimming, canoeing, rock pooling mermaids and pirates. In fact all the ingredients for the perfect break in North Devon.

Lee Chapel is a charming stone-built Wesleyan Chapel sleeping 5 with the adjoining School House that sleeps 2+2, they can be booked together or separately. The School House is only available on an individual basis outside of the peak holiday season and when the Chapel is unoccupied. Both properties can be booked together throughout the season for the larger parties.

Approached by a number of stone steps, care will need to be taken to gain access. Whilst the entrance is initially a communal door each property has a solid internal door. A separate utility room is also communal, with a washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer. Outside is securely fenced and gated with a gravelled area to the front and side of the Chapel. An entrance through a slate wall takes you to a sloping grassy area and garden, all with outstanding views towards the sea. Garden furniture and a brick built BBQ are provided. Roadside parking for 2 cars further safe parking can be found in the village car park. Bed linen, towels and electric included. Regret no pets or smokers. Beach, shop, car park and pub are within easy walking distance.

The accommodation is beautifully refurbished, and features magnificent original stained glass windows that allows light to flood into the spacious open plan layout. Staircases lead to the THREE bedrooms: 1 galleried double, 1 double and 1 single. Bathroom with hand-held shower over bath and WC. Open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with double sided woodburner, TV, DVD, video, hi-fi, cooker, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. From November to Easter central heating is an additional £20 and £15 for logs, payable on arrival.
