Little Burcombe is ideal for couples, situated in the quaint village of Northam yet superbly situated for exploring the magnificent coastline and spectacular sandy beaches with Westward Ho! being only a mile away. For those who love walking, the South West Coast Path, with its breathtaking views and The Tarka Trail which gives you many miles of safe track for walking and cycling, are close by. The popular market towns of Bideford and Barnstaple, with its famous pannier markets are also close by, offering an array of good pubs, shops and restaurants. Just around the corner is the attractive little town of Appledore which offers all the old world charm of a fishing village, famous for its arts, crafts and maritime heritage. There is also Clovelly which is well worth a visit, with its steep, stepped, cobbled streets which lead down to a pretty harbour. The village of Northam itself offers an excellent pub, village shop and a fantastic restaurant. Alternately you can just sit and relax outside on the decked area with a good book and a glass of wine.
