This charming fisherman's cottage is full of character and in Appledore's favourite street, only fifty metres from the shore. It is ideally located for coastal walks, visiting recommended pubs and restaurants or browsing the many craft shops in the village. Recently refurbished, the 18th century cottage has many traditional features, including a cosy wood-burning stove and original floorboards made from old ships' timbers. The long sandy beach at Westward Ho! perfect for surfing and body boarding, is only a mile away, with the Royal North Devon Golf Club and North Devon Yacht Club nearby. Fishing trips can be arranged from the Appledore quay. The picturesque village of Clovelly, the ancient market town of Bideford and the grounds of Tapeley Park are just a short drive, while the beautiful RHS gardens at Rosemoor make a perfect day out. Spend the evening relaxing in the sunny south-facing garden.

Lounge: with stone fireplace, cosy woodburner, flatscreen TV with DVD, video and Freeview. Dining room: with a wooden feature fire surround, pine dresser, table and chairs and cupboard with large fridge/freezer. Kitchen: with ceramic hob, washing machine, electric oven and dishwasher. Outside: a small enclosed patio area with seating immediately outside. Sunny south-facing garden with table and chairs, BBQ, flowerbeds and attractive views over neighbouring gardens and across the quayside to Instow, is just 40 metres up a sloping drangway typical of the village. Amenities: roadside parking and large car park nearby. Bed linen, tea towels, electric and heating included. £15 heating surcharge between 1 October - 31 March, payable direct to the owner on arrival.
