These delightful lodges are situated in a beautiful hidden valley, yet only a 5 minute drive to the village of Buckland Brewer with its excellent village pub renowned for its superb food, and only a 15 minute drive to the spectacular North Devon coastline with cliff top walks and vast sandy beaches.
The lodges are situated right on the water’s edge and offer tranquil views across the water, and where a variety of wildlife can be observed, kingfishers are frequent visitors as are the ducks and moorhens. Try your hand at fishing on one of the two lakes; one stocked with carp and tench, the other having trout. Visitors can have a BBQ on the decked veranda, with a glass of wine, whilst catching a few rays, or hop into your own private hot tub and just chill. Alternatively, why not stroll down to the island picnic area, accessed via a wooden walkway, or explore the 6 acres of pretty woodland which is particularly beautiful in the spring and early summertime.

Additional info: both lodges are identical and benefit from easy low-level entrances making them ideal for those with walking difficulties or the partially disabled. Free access to all of the land and lakes. The land is bordered by a small river, therefore children should always take extra care. Location: beach 9.5 miles, shops 5 miles and pub 1.5 miles.
The accommodation offers TWO bedrooms: 1 king-size with TV/DVD and en-suite shower room. 1 twin room with TV/DVD. Bathroom: bath with shower over and WC. Lounge/kitchen/diner: open-plan with leather sofas, 42" wall mounted flatscreen TV/DVD and French doors leading to the decked area. Kitchen area is well-equipped with electric oven and hood, gas hob, large fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave and many stylish extras.
