Plenty to see and do in the area and within walking distance of the Tamar Lakes which offer a variety of water sports and fishing, as well as excellent walking. The small sandy coves of Sandymouth and Duckpool and the larger beaches at Bude are approximately a 20 minute drive. The Eden Project and The Lost Gardens of Heligan are ideal for a day's adventure. Other attractions in the area are RHS Rosemoor Gardens at Torrington, Appledore, a small fishing village on the Taw and Torridge estuary is worth visiting, from here you will be a short drive to the village of Instow where you can sit and relax in the sand dunes or hire bikes and cycle along the Tarka Trail. The bedroom can be arranged to suit all parties with a zip-up bed making a king-size double or alternatively twin beds. Wooden floors throughout and lots of homely touches.
