WING OF PERIOD FARMHOUSE IN POPULAR VILLAGE SETTING, SATURDAY CHANGEOVER FOR 2008 AND FRIDAY FOR 2009

Situated on a working organic dairy farm between the well-known surfing beaches of Croyde and Putsborough, and down the road from the chocolate box village of Georgeham, which offers a shop and two village pubs, both with a very good reputation for serving fresh food and good ale. Visitors are welcome to watch the day-to-day farming activities such as milking, or roam across the fields to join the road down to Putsborough beach - a sandy beach with rock pools. The main draw for this property is its location, just 2 miles from Croyde Bay which offers one of the best surfing destinations in the country with its mile of picture postcard golden sandy beach, and selection of restaurants, pubs and shops to pick up a memento or two of your visit. If Croyde is not the beach for you, then you are not short of alternatives with Woolacombe, Saunton and Putsborough beaches just a short drive from your door. North Devon has a host of activities on offer to complement the wonderful scenery, visit one of the many all-year attractions, enjoy a walk over Exmoor National Park or visit historic Barnstaple with its market and high street shops.

This traditional semi-detached farmhouse style property offers FOUR bedrooms: 2 doubles, 1 twin and 1 bunk bedroom. Family bathroom on the first floor offering bath with shower over and WC. The property still retains many of the original features you would expect with the lowered ceilings and exposed wooden beams. The kitchen/diner with its slate flooring offers Aga-style cooker, integrated electric cooker with hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and an additional seating area with TV, Freeview and DVD. The lounge is a modest size and offers comfy seating around the woodburner (first basket of logs included), TV and DVD. Utility/shower room with washing machine and WC. The enclosed garden is reached through the kitchen and includes garden furniture and BBQ. Play area with swings and trampoline. Ample off-road parking. Bed linen, electric and central heating included. 1 pet by arrangement, regret no pets during July and August. Regret no smoking within the property. Beach 2 miles, shop and pubs within walking distance. Arrival time 3:30.
