North Town Farmhouse is a detached character cottage over 300 years old, set in its own enclosed grounds, nestling in a peaceful village setting. Under the personal supervision of the owner, it has been recently refurbished and refitted to a high standard and is perfect for touring the whole of North Devon, with its lovely sandy beaches and sheltered coves and attractions to suit all tastes. Dartmoor, Dartington Crystal, RHS Rosemoor, and the Torrington 1646 experience are all within easy reach of the cottage.
The cottage retains many original features such as exposed beams, low ceilings and inglenook fireplaces with bread ovens. There is a woodburner fitted in the main lounge area (basket of logs included). The cottage offers FOUR bedrooms: 1 small double downstairs, 1 double, 1 twin, and 1 single upstairs. The upstairs bathroom has WC, bath and bidet and there is a downstairs bathroom with a corner bath, power shower and WC. Large kitchen/diner with gas range cooker, washing machine, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. There is a TV in the lounge with Freeview, together with DVD/video. Two further lounge areas with computer and piano. Parking for 3 cars. Bed linen included. Electric by key meter. Gas central heating an extra cost £30 in Winter months October to March.
