CENTRALLY LOCATED IN A PICTURESQUE VILLAGE WITH 3 EXCELLENT PUBS

This delightful 16th century converted barn is set in a quiet spot in the centre of this Devon village, though only a few steps away from the village square. Ideal to use as a base to visit the whole of the county or just to get away from it all and live life at a somewhat slower pace. Enjoy the property's sunny courtyard which is ideal for BBQs or morning coffee, stroll through the village which has a grocery store (selling almost everything) and incorporates a post office, fresh bakery and off-licence. Pop into one of the 3 cosy pubs all offering great bar food, each with restaurants, families welcome. Lots to see and do in the area, The Olde Dairy is in a superb location and ideal for walkers with a nature reserve close by and Exmoor and Dartmoor are easily reached by car. Other excellent amenities include a local fishery, horse riding stables nearby and the traffic-free Tarka Trail is ideal for cyclists. There are also several golf courses nearby. The coast is never far away and the golden sands of Westward Ho! is well worth the 30 minute drive.

This superb cottage is warm and cosy with central heating, making it ideal for visits at any time of the year. TWO bedrooms 1 double and 1 twin room. Large bathroom with spa bath and shower over, WC and washbasin. Large landing with small sitting area. Downstairs lounge with TV, DVD, VCR hi-fi. Kitchen/diner with belfast sink, gas range oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and freezer. Downstairs WC. Lobby area with washing machine and space for walking boots and a dog basket. Outside, at the rear, is a gravelled and paved patio area, a real sun trap and not overlooked. Garden furniture provided. Parking for 1 car directly outside the cottage, otherwise parking in the village square a few steps away. Bed linen, electric and central heating included. Extra charge for central heating £20 per week 1st October-end April payable direct to owner. Towels available for hire. 1 small dog welcome. Shops and pubs in the village. Beach 18 miles.
