This delightful cottage is just a few steps from the bustling quayside of this pretty fishing village and walking distance to the many pubs, shops and galleries. Lots to see and do nearby to suit all ages and tastes, with the superb sandy beach at Westward Ho! being just a few miles away, ideal for keen surfers, body boarders or those who just enjoy a paddle. Family theme parks, such as The Big Sheep and The Milky Way, both offering excellent all weather play areas, are ideal should the weather be wet. Other interesting places to visit are Clovelly, a unique cliffside village with steep stepped cobbled streets that lead to a pretty harbour, RHS Rosemoor gardens or Dartington Crystal where you can watch glass being blown or browse around their sparkling showroom. For those who just want to relax, why not stay closer to home and stroll around the quaint, narrow streets of Appledore, watch the boats out on the estuary, or just sit on the quayside and enjoy the local delicacy - a locally made Hockings ice cream.
The contemporary-styled property has been recently renovated and offers THREE bedrooms: on the first floor: are 2 double bedrooms and fully tiled shower room with double shower cubicle, washbasin and WC, on the second floor there is a good size twin bedroom. On the ground floor is the stylish open-plan living/dining area with comfy leather sofas TV/DVD and hi fi. Dining area with oak table and seating for 6. French doors lead out from the dining area to a small courtyard with a small shed ideal for storage of wetsuits/surfboards or bikes, etc. Galley-style kitchen with double electric oven, gas hob and extractor hood, fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave and many useful extras. Bathroom with newly fitted bath, washbasin and WC. Roadside parking nearby or in car park (fee payable). Bed linen, electric and central heating included. Towels available for hire.
