It offers superb views over the Northam Burrows, Westward Ho! beach and the Taw and Torridge estuary beyond. Access is reached through the main house, but with keys to your own front door, it allows couples a great opportunity to be able to explore the area or relax within their own accommodation but have all the home comforts of a 3 course breakfast being cooked for them if required by arrangement at extra £5 per person. The apartment itself is stylishly furnished and well equipped and offers some of the best views of Westward Ho!. There is lots to see and do nearby with golf, tennis, horseriding and delightful walks almost directly from the property. Westward Ho! has a selection of shops, pubs and restaurants together with typical seaside amenities. The nearby fishing village of Appledore is worth a visit as is the dramatic cliffside village of Clovelly with its pedestrianised cobbled streets which lead down to a pretty harbour. However if all this sounds far too energetic for you, then why not enjoy a game of snooker on the full-size table before popping out for a bite to eat, or indulge in a relaxing hour in the outdoor hot tub (May - Sept) and both can easily be arranged with the owner. All in all, Rooftop Apartment offers an idyllic location for active couples. Due to the nature of this property it would not be suitable for those with mobility/walking difficulties or guests with young children.
The apartment is reached via the main house and then you approach your accommodation through your own front door, up a dog-leg flight of stairs to the remainder of the apartment. Fully centrally heated there is ONE double bedroom with day bed to take advantage of the views as well as a TV. Shower room with shower cubicle, WC and washbasin. Well-equipped kitchenette up a couple of steps (with slanted beams and height restriction) with oven/hob, fridge with small freezer section, microwave and small breakfast bar with stools. Lounge with views over Westward Ho! has comfy seating and widescreen TV with Freeview, feature tiled fireplace. Parking. Bed linen, towels, electricity and central heating included.
