Lots to see and do in the area including the nearby Hartland Quay and lighthouse a great location to enjoy a brisk walk whilst taking in the magnificent views. Clovelly, the unique cliffside fishing village and pretty harbour, with family theme parks such as The Big Sheep and The Milky Way offering a good day out and offer a useful day's entertainment should the weather be wet, but if the weather is good the sandy beaches at Bude or Westward Ho! are the only places to be. Have a go at body boarding, or for the more adventurous try your hand at surfing. Younger visitors can spend hours exploring the rockpools, building sandcastles or just paddling in the surf. After a heavy day of sightseeing you will relish the thought of returning to your holiday home where you can sit out in the enclosed garden or terrace areas with a drink and enjoy views over the farm and enclosed lake to the open countryside beyond. Visitors are welcome to take advantage of the private fishing lake, (Rudd, Golden Rudd and Tench) however rods and flies are not available. For those bringing a pet with them there is an adjoining 2 acre field where you can exercise your dog.
