Most of the time our holiday properties book out for the Full week (7 nights), however there are times during some Off Peak periods or last minute where Short Breaks may be arranged with certain properties. They can be either 3, 4, 5 or 6 nights and are priced accordingly. COSY FISHERMAN'S COTTAGE CLOSE TO THE QUAYSIDE, A PERFECT ROMANTIC GETAWAY, SLEEPS 2+1

Just yards from the slipway and within easy walking distance of all village amenities, this delightful cottage nestles in the oldest part of the picturesque fishing village of Appledore and is a short walk to the bustling quayside with galleries, tea rooms, pubs and restaurants that can be found amidst the narrow cobbled streets. It is perfectly located for beach-combing the estuary shore and walking the coastal path with its wonderful views, while the nearby beach at Westward Ho! offers excellent surfing. The Elizabethan port of Bideford, the cliff-side village of Clovelly and the beautiful gardens of Tapeley Park are just a short drive away. At the end of the day, relax in the sheltered patio garden or watch the sun sink beneath the waves at one of the waterside pubs nearby.

The recently updated delightful cottage is comfortably furnished throughout, offering a well appointed holiday base. TWO bedrooms: accessed via a steep staircase, both with fitted storage and electric radiators, 1 king-size double bed and 1 single with ample room for a cot. Bathroom: L-shaped and compact with electric power shower over bath, WC and heated towel rail. Ground floor WC. Lounge: open-plan living room with wood laminate flooring and rugs, pictures and artwork by local artists, attractive hearth with electric stove, and a combination entertainment centre with flatscreen TV, Freeview, CD and DVD. Kitchen/diner: fully fitted with painted units, electric cooker, fridge, microwave and washing machine. Small entrance lobby. Outside: secluded patio area with garden furniture and BBQ just 40 metres up a charming drangway typical of the village. Amenities: unrestricted roadside parking and large car park nearby. Bed linen, towels, tea towels, electric and heating included. £15 heating surcharge between 1 October - 31 March, payable direct to the owner on arrival. Regret no smoking in the property.
