Adults can relax too with a drink in the summerhouse conservatory bar, or enjoy an evenings entertainment in the manor house showbar. For those who want to experience a slower pace, why not take a stroll through the woodland along the walkers trail down to the pretty cove of Bucks Mills where you can paddle in the sea, watch the natural cliffside waterfall or just enjoy a Devon cream tea in the small tearoom. Lots of interesting places to see nearby, including the small fishing villages of Clovelly and Appledore and the regional centres of Bideford and Barnstaple. The chalet is situated in a slightly elevated position but accessed via a sloping pathway, and offers outstanding sea views over Bideford Bay. TWO bedrooms: 1 double and 1 twin room. Shower room with shower cubicle, heated towel rail, WC and washbasin. Open-plan living area with comfortable and co-ordinating furnishings, the sofa opening out to a sofa bed if required, feature electric fire, TV/DVD and hi-fi. Kitchen area with fridge, electric cooker, hob, and microwave. Bar, restaurant and takeway service on site. Ample parking. Bed linen and electric included. Regret no pets. Nearest beach 1 mile - or larger sandy beach at Westward Ho! 20 minute drive. Shop and small supermarket also on site but major supermarket in Bideford (15 minutes drive). |
