Shires Cottage is situated in a tranquil part of the Devon countryside yet is only 5 miles from the market town of Barnstaple. You will be an easy drive to the amenities and attractions that North Devon has to offer including Arlington Court, Exmoor Zoological Park and Exmoor Steam Railway. With some lovely walks from the cottage and Exmoor National Park within a short driving distance, walkers and nature lovers will be in their element. There are numerous beaches that are within a 30 minute drive from the Blue Flag beaches of Woolacombe, Croyde and Saunton Sands to the unspoilt coves hidden by jagged cliffs.
The cottage has been converted to a high standard with many original features retained and countryside views from many of the windows. The accommodation offers TWO bedrooms: 1 double and 1 twin. Bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Lounge with SkyTV, DVD and electric-effect woodburner. Kitchen/diner with gas hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Enclosed patio with seating and BBQ, a small garden approached via a few stone steps with a swing and patio with seating. Private entrance with parking shared only with the owner's neighbouring property - privacy is assured. Bed linen, towels, electric and central heating included with an extra heating supplement of £20 per week payable to the owner from November to Easter. Regret no pets.
