Short Breaks


Most of the time our holiday properties book out for the Full week (7 nights), however there are times during some Off Peak periods or last minute where Short Breaks may be arranged with certain properties. They can be either 3, 4, 5 or 6 nights and are priced accordingly. Please remember that all short break enquiries have to be checked prior to booking, simply find your perfect cottage, get in touch and we will help finalise your enquiry either email or phone our Reservation Team .

About the property

STYLISH SPACIOUS COTTAGE, JUST A STONES THROW FROM THE QUAYSIDE

Set in the quaint fishing village of Appledore only a short stroll to the quayside where you can watch the fishing boats come in and the yachts sailing across the estuary. With a myriad of narrow streets, quaint cottages, pubs, restaurants, craft shops and art galleries. There is a slipway and small pebble beach in the village, but just a short drive away is the large expanse of golden sands at Westward Ho! and other leisure facilities such as horseriding, tennis, golf and cliff top walks. Also a short drive is the sand dunes and beach at Instow and the Tarka Trail is close by where you can cycle or walk along this disused railway line and enjoy the various watering holes along the way.

This delightful cottage has THREE bedrooms: on the first floor 1 double with four-poster bed, TV/DVD and en-suite shower room with WC. 1 twin room with TV/DVD. On the ground floor, 1 further double with TV and connecting door to the bathroom. Bathroom: on the first floor with bath and WC, this room has a sloping ceiling on one side so please take care. Further bathroom downstairs with bath, shower attachment and WC. Lounge/kitchen/diner: spiral staircase (please take care) leads down to this open-plan area with TV/DVD, hi-fi, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, electric oven and hob. The washing machine is housed in a cupboard within the downstairs bedroom. Outside: steps lead up to a small paved patio with garden furniture and built in BBQ. Amenities: roadside parking or weekly ticket available in Odun Road car park. Bed linen, towels, electric and central heating included. Regret no smoking. Regret no pets. Location: beach 2 miles, quayside, pubs, shops and restaurants all within walking distance.

This property also has access to an annexe suite, at an additional cost, for any extra visitors. Known as ‘The Snug’, it has sleeping accommodation ideal for teenagers or couples looking for more privacy/independence and comprises of a cosy lounge/kitchenette: with small electric 2 ring hob, microwave, sofa bed and TV/DVD. Separate shower room with shower cubicle, and WC.
