The shared gardens are an ideal place to unwind to the sounds and sights of nature and watch the sun set.

Nestling in a secluded south facing valley in a designated coastal preservation area, an area of outstanding natural beauty and a nature conservancy zone, the Barns enjoy amazing views amidst the timeless beauty of the North Devon countryside. With the South West Coast Path on your doorstep, it is an ideal retreat for nature lovers and walkers. To the south the path leads to unspoilt Welcome Mouth Beach, to the north Hartland Peninsula unfolds before you. Here, high open moorland and ancient woodland give way to breathtaking seascapes, rugged coastline and coastal waterfalls tumbling from hanging valleys onto rocky shores. On a clear day, the magical Lundy island towers above the ocean waves.
Games room: offers a wide range of videos/DVD's, books, puzzles, games, general information and a good selection of walks in the Hartland Peninsula, all free of charge. Shared utility room: a washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer are also at your disposal free of charge. Outside: shared garden with alfresco dining area. Little of the Hartland Peninsula has mains water and the barns source fresh water from natural springs and bore holes. Water is very precious in the countryside so please be cautious and responsible with your usage during your stay. Regret no smoking or pets. Additional info: a security deposit of £100 is required and is payable direct to owners upon arrival. Location: beach and pub 1.5 miles, shop 2 miles. Arrival: from 4pm-8pm; departure by 10am.
