SITUATED IN A SLIGHTLY ELEVATED POSITION WITH VIEWS ACROSS THE ESTUARY, SLEEPS 4+1

This former fisherman's cottage, which has been refurbished to a high standard, is perfect for couples or a family. Located close to the quayside in the centre of the Appledore, this picturesque fishing village with colourful narrow streets offers several pubs and restaurants for lunch or an evening meal, fishing and river trips as well as shops, church and fish and chip shop. Nearby is Westward Ho! (2 miles) with its long sandy beach and the Royal North Devon Golf Course. The Tarka Trail is also close by and is ideal for walking and cycling (bikes can be hired). Attractions in the area include The Big Sheep, The Milky Way, Dartington Crystal, RHS Rosemoor Gardens and Clovelly to name a few.

Tanderra offers TWO bedrooms, both with TVs, which are approached by steep cottage stairs with a stairgate at the top: 1 king-size double with 2 easy chairs to enjoy the scenic view across the estuary and 1 cosy room with a 4' double bed with a 3' single bed over, perfect for 2 but can sleep 3 if requested at time of booking. This room also enjoys some view across the river. Upstairs bathroom with electric shower over bath and WC. Downstairs lounge with feature Victorian tiled fireplace, sofa and 2 easy chairs in leather, TV with Freeview and DVD. The dining room, with feature fireplace, TV, hi-fi, 2 seater sofa, table and chairs, leads to the modern well-equipped kitchen with electric oven, gas hob with hood over, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge/freezer. Outside is a sunny, south-facing, sheltered garden with raised flower bed, external lighting and garden furniture. Roadside parking. Bed linen, towels (not beach towels), electric and central heating included. Regret no pets or smoking. Beach at Westward Ho! 2 miles, pubs, restaurants and shops all within easy walking distance.
