This stylish conversion (formerly used as an old gymnasium) offers visitors a peaceful holiday retreat on the spectacular North Devon coast. Offering all modern conveniences, the conversion is also extremely well insulated and offers a comfortable and warm retreat at any time of the year. Visitors to The Old Gym can wander the adjacent fields and woodland or picnic by the 2 ponds where a variety of wildlife and often wild deer are spotted. Lots to see and do in the area; visit Clovelly the famous cliffside fishing village with its cobbled streets and pretty harbour, or pop down to Bucks Mills with its small beach and unspoilt cottages. Large golden stretches of sand can be found at Bude or Westward Ho! together with a large selection of leisure activities such as golf, horse riding, ten pin bowling, tennis and indoor swimming pools all to be found close by. The village of Woolsery (Woolfardisworthy) is a short drive and offers a shop and good village pub serving bar meals. There is also a small fish and chip shop in the village too. Alternatively why not just sit out on the decking or garden area and relax with a good book whilst overlooking the surrounding countryside.
The accommodation, which is all on one floor but accessed via a couple of steps onto raised decking, offers ONE double bedroom with king-size bed, en-suite shower room with large shower cubicle and WC. Open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with well-fitted units, electric cooker with ceramic hob, fridge with small freezer compartment, microwave and many useful extras. Use of washing machine and tumble dryer. TV, DVD, Freeview and hi-fi. Garden furniture and BBQ provided and use of lawn areas to the front and side of the property. Parking directly outside.
