Waverley is a deceptively light and spacious family home. Lynton village has pretty narrow streets, quaint shops, tea rooms and a choice of good places to eat all within a few minutes walk. It's a perfect getaway for discerning visitors to explore beautiful Exmoor or simply just relax. There are an abundance of coastal and moorland walks that are right on the doorstep. You will be within walking distance of The Valley of the Rocks, the beautiful waterfalls of Watersmeet, Woody Bay, Heddons Mouth, and the Lynton & Lynmouth Cliff Railway which takes you to the picturesque harbour of Lynmouth.
Much care and attention has gone into retaining Waverley's traditional charm whilst incorporating today's creature comforts. The accommodation is arranged over three floors offering THREE bedrooms: on the second floor is 1 double and 1 single bedroom and a bathroom with a bath and WC. On the first floor is 1 bunk bedroom, shower room with shower cubicle and WC, a lounge overlooking the Exmoor hills and village with TV, DVD, hi-fi and a small roof garden with seating. On the ground floor is the kitchen with cooker, fridge and microwave (no washing machine but launderette 50 metres) and a charming dining room. Parking is roadside but is just a short walk, or there is an adjacent pay car park (weekly permits can be purchased) but luggage can easily be dropped right outside the property. Bed linen and electric is included. Convector and night storage heaters. Regret no pets. Pubs, restaurants and shops a few minutes walk away, sandy beach 5 miles, and pebble beach 0.5 mile to Lynmouth Bay. |
