A modern, purpose built holiday cottage, located in the heart of Willingcott Valley Golf Course complex and enjoying far-reaching views across the golf course and over surrounding countryside. The property has been furnished and equipped to a high standard and provides a comfortable base from which to explore the many and varied attractions of North Devon. The family-friendly, sandy beaches of Woolacombe, Croyde and Saunton (all Blue-Flag) are within easy reach, providing excellent surfing. Woolacombe beach can also be accessed by foot, (approximately 1.5 miles), via a marked footpath over farmland. Further opportunities for walking are provided by the South West Coast Path. The Tarka Trail, a 6 mile section of cycle path following the route of the disused railway line through woodland and unspoilt countryside, gives direct access to the lively coastal town of Ilfracombe, the departure point for days trips to Lundy Island. Venturing slightly further afield, the National Trust property of Arlington Court, Combe Martin Wildlife Park, Exmoor National Park and Barnstaple, the regional town of North Devon, are all just a leisurely drive away. Leisure facilities: guests are welcome to make use of the on-site facilities which include fishing lakes, outdoor heated swimming pool (open from Whitsun until the end of September), bar/restaurant and the golf course itself (green fees apply).
The accommodation offers TWO bedrooms: 1 king-size with en-suite shower room, and 1 twin. Bathroom: with shower over bath and WC. Additional WC located on the ground floor. Lounge/diner: compact but comfortable with ample seating, TV with DVD, freesat HD and hi-fi. Kitchen: well-equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer. Outside: communal grass areas to the front and rear, with picnic tables. Amenities: ample off-road parking. Bed linen, towels, electric and central heating included. Regret no smoking.
