Most of the time our holiday properties book out for the Full week (7 nights), however there are times during some Off Peak periods or last minute where Short Breaks may be arranged with certain properties. They can be either 3, 4, 5 or 6 nights and are priced accordingly. They have been lovingly converted with many features of the property being hand crafted by the owners. Wood from the owner's own woodland has been used to create a very individual, yet contemporary feel. Together with under floor heating and stylish furnishings this makes these properties an idyllic holiday retreat ideal for couples or small families. The barns overlook unspoilt countryside and have walks directly from the farm connecting with the Two Moors Way. Rackenford village is only 1.5 miles away with the Stag Inn, shop and post office. Rackenford is central for access to both North and South Devon coasts, Exmoor and Dartmoor. Outside: small lawn area to the front of the barn and use of the larger lawn area if required. Garden furniture and BBQ. Visitors are welcome to wander over the farm (depending on the crops). Plenty of wildlife including badgers and red deer, also a small lake that may be fished. Lounge/kitchen/diner: downstairs open-plan area with solid wood flooring and underfloor heating, comfortable sofa, TV/DVD with Freeview, hi-fi and selection of books. Kitchen is hand crafted and houses an electric oven, hob, fridge, microwave and dishwasher.
