Panoramic views taking in Widecombe-in-the-Moor right around to the South Devon coastline. Situated on a working farm, families are welcome to enjoy a guided tour around the farm to meet the animals including miniature ponies. With some fantastic walks adjoining the land and Dartmoor National Park, walkers and nature lovers will be in their element. Nearby are a wealth of lovely locations and attractions that include Exeter, Plymouth, Totnes, The Dart Valley, Buckfast Abbey, The English Riviera, Pennywell Farm and The Primrose Line steam railway. You will also be ideally situated to enjoy a game of golf (7 miles), tennis (3 miles), the heated open-air swimming pool in Buckfastleigh (3 miles) open till the end of September. Farm produce available on-site.
Bowden Lodge is a self-contained unit adjoining the owner's rural farmhouse and offers a comfortable standard of accommodation. There are TWO bedrooms: 1 double, with WC off, leading to a small staircase up to the twin bedroom (which can be zipped together to make a double if required) with en-suite shower room. Lounge/kitchen/diner: open-plan. Lounge area with TV, Freeview, video and DVD with a selection of videos. Kitchen area well-equipped with electric hob and oven, microwave, fridge with icebox and dishwasher. Built-in washing machine in the entrance hall. Outside: enclosed patio with seating and BBQ. Amenities: ample private parking. Bed linen, towels, electric and central heating included. Regret no smoking. 1 dog welcome. Location: beach 17 miles, pub 1 mile, shop 3 miles. Arrival: 4pm.
