The long sandy beach at Dawlish Warren, which provides a safe environment for bathing with its gentle sloping beach, is perfect for family days out. Dawlish Warren is a designated special area of conservation and has been acclaimed as being of international importance to wildlife, with many rare species of birds often found to nest within the Warren. The coastal resorts of Exmouth, Teignmouth and Torbay are all within a short drive. The cottage is just minutes from an attractive park with a brook running through, yet within easy reach of the historic city of Exeter, Powderham Castle and Dartmoor National Park.
Caroline Cottage is situated within town, but has an open aspect, and is approached via a small steep hill and offers TWO bedrooms: 1 double with distant sea views and 1 twin bedroom (3' beds) with country views. Family bathroom with bath, separate shower and WC. Lounge/diner with TV, DVD, sofa bed and open fire. Kitchen with cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer and doors leading to enclosed patio area with garden furniture and BBQ. Parking for 1 car.
