This spacious first floor apartment has extensive, uninterrupted views of Torbay and Lyme Bay. The apartment is situated in a quiet area, and is just a ten minute stroll from Shoalstone beach with its free outdoor swimming pool, Breakwater beach and the BerryHead Country Park with its lovely walks and views across Torbay and the English Channel. The harbour and town with its shops and restaurants are just 15 minutes walk, but if you prefer, the bus service, (which runs on time), stops 2 minutes from the apartment. There is a ferry service to Torquay, so leave the car and be amazed by the beautiful coastline, and if you are lucky you will see the dolphins that regularly follow the ferry. Relax with a drink and enjoy the uninterrupted views from the balcony or communal gardens, the sunsets are stunning! You will be ideally placed to explore the whole area including Dartmouth, with its historical naval college, Agatha Christie's estate, the beautiful town of Totnes on the river Dart, and Dartmoor are all just a short drive away. Plymouth with its Hoe and Barbican is a little further as is Exeter with its magnificent Cathedral and quayside. Or stay closer to home and explore Brixham itself, which is steeped in history. Fishing trips leave from the harbour, or just enjoy watching the trawlers returning with their catches of fresh fish. Whatever your choice, you will not be disappointed.
The accommodation offers sea views from all windows and balcony. It stands in its own grounds with communal gardens and a private car park with an allocated parking space. There are TWO bedrooms: 1 double and 1 twin. Bathroom with shower over and WC. A modern fully-equipped kitchen with a double oven/grill, separate hob, built-in fridge/freezer and microwave. Lounge/diner with TV, DVD and Freeview, with patio doors leading to the large balcony which is not suitable for children unless under supervision. Bed linen, electric and heating included. Regret no pets or smokers. Beach, shops, pubs and restaurants all within 15 minutes walk. |
