Travel over Dartmoor to Princetown, Tavistock or Plymouth or visit the many picturesque villages for a traditional Devon cream tea. The cathedral city of Exeter is nearby and the beaches of the South Hams and Torbay are also a short drive away. Attractions in the area include Babbacombe Model village, Crealy Devon, National Trust properties including Castle Drogo and Killerton House. There are theatres in Torquay and Paignton with shows all year-round and a choice of pubs and restaurants all within a short drive.
