Situated in an idyllic setting with far-reaching countryside views, this tastefully renovated farmhouse is ideally positioned for touring the whole area. You will be a few miles from Dartmoor, which is one of the finest National Parks and Southern England's last great wilderness area. From pre-historic stone rows and hut circles to more recent remnants of mining and quarrying, Dartmoor offers a rich historical tableau for the observant walker. Plymouth's superb natural harbour and Hoe is also a short drive away, where you can enjoy a visit to Plymouth Dome and Smeaton's Tower. The walks along the coastal footpaths are exceptional and offer magnificent views where you can choose to walk, cycle or ride on horseback. You will also be close to many attractions including Morwellham Quay, Buckland Abbey and The Garden House as well as The National Marine Aquarium, Lydford Gorge and much more. On site offers a unique holiday experience where there are many things to see and do. You will have sole use of an indoor heated swimming pool (24' x 12' x 4' deep), young children's play area, teenage playroom with pool, table football and pub skittles, pets corner, and an opportunity to pet the ponies. You will be welcome to fish on the pond with bream, tench, carp, roach and rudd, this should be done using barbless hooks, no keep nets permitted. For the more serious fisherman there are excellent professional ponds with a few miles of the property.
The accommodation offers FOUR bedrooms: 2 double bedrooms both with en-suite offering a bath, separate shower and WC, 1 twin room, 1 room with 2 sets of adult sized bunk beds. Family bathroom with bath and WC. Kitchen with feature rayburn, cooker, fridge/freezer with water distiller, dishwasher, washing/dryer and microwave. Separate dining room with table and chairs. Lounge offers slate flooring; SkyTV, DVD, video, woodburner, and entrance leading to another small separate lounge with pullout double sofa bed, SkyTV/DVD. Outside offers a patio area with garden furniture, BBQ, children's play area and Wendy house. Child friendly with a cot and highchair available and for peace of mind there are stairgates on the stairs. Parking for 3 cars. Bed linen, towels, electric, logs and central heating included. Regret no smoking in the property. 2 dogs welcome. Pubs and shops 1 mile, beach 12 miles.
