You will be a few miles from Dartmoor, which is one of the finest National Parks and Southern England's last great wilderness area. From pre-historic stone rows and hut circles to more recent remnants of mining and quarrying, Dartmoor offers a rich historical tableau for the observant walker. Plymouth's superb natural harbour and Hoe is also a short drive away, where you can enjoy a visit to Plymouth Dome and Smeaton's Tower. The walks along the coastal footpaths are exceptional and offer magnificent views where you can choose to walk, cycle or ride on horseback. You will also be close to many attractions including Morwellham Quay, Buckland Abbey and The Garden House as well as The National Marine Aquarium, Lydford Gorge and much more. On site offers a unique holiday experience where there are many things to see and do. Leisure facilities: sole use of an indoor heated swimming pool (24' x 12' x 4' deep). You will be welcome to stroll around the pond and see the wildlife. For the serious fisherman there are excellent professional ponds within a few miles of the property. Play facilities: young children's play area. Games room: teenage playroom with pool, table football, air hockey and pub skittles.
The accommodation offers FOUR bedrooms: 2 doubles both with en-suite offering a bath, separate shower and WC, 1 twin room, 1 room with 2 sets of adult size bunk beds. Bathroom: opposite the twin room with bath and WC. Small downstairs WC. Lounge: offers slate flooring, SkyTV, DVD, video, woodburner and entrance leading to another small separate lounge with pullout double sofa bed, SkyTV and DVD. Dining room: with large dining table and chairs. Kitchen: with range cooker, fridge/freezer with water distiller, dishwasher, washer/dryer and microwave. Outside: patio area with garden furniture and BBQ along with a small children's play area. Amenities: parking for 3 cars. Bed linen, towels, electric, logs and central heating included. Regret no smoking in the property. Wi-fi available. 2 dogs welcome. Child friendly with a cot and highchair available and for peace of mind there are stairgates on the stairs. Location: pubs and shops 1 mile, beach 12 miles. Arrival: 4pm.
