Exmouth is approximately 1 mile away and offers a 2 mile long sandy beach which is perfect for those wishing to swim or relax. Topsham, Budleigh and Sidmouth, all offering quaint shops and eating places, are close by. Other facilities nearby include the championship golf course at the Woodbury Park Hotel Golf and Country Club, riding, fishing and more. The beautiful Exe Estuary, so popular with bird-watchers and walkers, is close by with it's fabulous views. Stunning boat trips are available as far as Topsham, and occasionally as far as Exeter Quay.
