Most of the time our holiday properties book out for the Full week (7 nights), however there are times during some Off Peak periods or last minute where Short Breaks may be arranged with certain properties. They can be either 3, 4, 5 or 6 nights and are priced accordingly. LOVELY 17TH CENTURY DETACHED THATCHED COTTAGE WITH FAR REACHING VIEWS
Nestling in a quiet and tranquil position, this lovely thatched detached cottage, built in 1738, is surrounded by open fields and rolling countryside. A perfect base for a relaxing holiday or for exploring both Dorset and Somerset.
There is so much to see and do in the area with beaches to the north and south as well as a wealth of attractions to suit all tastes which include: Sherborne Castle, numerous National Trust properties and gardens, Longleat Safari Park, Montacute House, Yeovilton Air Museum, to name but a few. In the evenings, enjoy the lovely views from the patio with seating or visit one of the rustic traditional pubs close by, serving good food. This traditional cottage retains much of its original quirky charm and character and offers TWO bedrooms: approached via the original narrow cottage style stairs, 1 double and 1 twin. Bathroom: upstairs with roll-top bath and separate WC. Downstairs WC. Lounge: with woodburner, TV, DVD and Freeview. Dining room: separate. Kitchen: modern units with cooker, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and microwave. Outside: enclosed gardens with patio. Amenities: ample parking. Bed linen, electric and central heating included (£30 surcharge for central heating between 1 October and 31 March). Free internet access. 1 dog by arrangement.
