Most of the time our holiday properties book out for the Full week (7 nights), however there are times during some Off Peak periods or last minute where Short Breaks may be arranged with certain properties. They can be either 3, 4, 5 or 6 nights and are priced accordingly. This converted stable is perfectly positioned in the village of Stour Row to enjoy the delights that Dorset has to offer. Skilfully done the external remains largely unchanged whilst the interior offers spacious modern accommodation. Only 3 miles away, steeped in history and tradition the market town of Shaftesbury offers breath taking views and the warmest of welcomes. The town is the main shopping and service centre for the surrounding area and provides a range of facilities. The High Street is renowned for its selection of independent specialist retailers, while also being home to multinational chains. You can also visit Shaftesbury’s Gold Hill, made famous by the Hovis advert. Todber Manor is just a short walk away and offers 6 well stocked lakes for coarse fishing. Alternatively you can enjoy the nearby golf courses and driving range. Other attractions include Sherborne Castle, which contains a splendid collection of art, furniture and porcelain. Enjoy incredibly close encounters with some of the world’s most amazing animals in the drive through Safari Park at Longleat, with Longleat House, widely regarded as one of the best examples of high Elizabethan architecture in Britain and one of the most beautiful stately homes open to the public.
