There are many National Trust properties and gardens that are all well worth a visit including Stourhead, Montacute Kingston Lacy, Corfe Castle, Hardy's Cottage and Studland Beach and Nature Reserve. In addition to this the towns of Dorchester, Sherborne and Yeovil are easily accessible and there are many attractions to visit including Monkey World, The Tank Museum, a Sea Life Centre, Abbotsbury Swannery and Longleat. For golf enthusiasts, there is a golf course 300 yards away but if golf is not your game there are many other country pursuits within easy reach.
