Situated equidistant from the Roman city of Bath and the metropolitan city of Bristol, both are well worth a visit when visiting the area. A short drive leads you into the city of Bath, popular not only for its wealth of fine Roman and Georgian architecture, but also for its vibrant range wealth of restaurants, boutique shops and wine bars. In 1987 Bath was designated as a World Heritage Site for its 'outstanding value and cultural significance'. Popular with walkers and cyclists the Cotswolds Hills are on your doorstep, offering some of the most picturesque villages and walks in the country. Numerous National Trust properties and gardens are within easy reach.
