2 OF 9 HOLIDAY COTTAGES SET IN 215 ACRES IN THE MAGICAL COTSWOLD VALLEY

This fairy-tale Cotswolds hamlet centres around a church, a Tudor manor house and selection of cottages, all set against an equally picturesque mountainside.

This valley has long been recognised as one of the most romantic places in England and provides guests with an exclusive and relaxing hideaway surrounded by private woods and hills, many miles of walks from a gentle stroll round the estate trails, to a 20 mile trek along the Cotswolds Way. Situated in the Royal Triangle in the heart of the Cotswolds hills the historic cities of Bath, Cheltenham and Cirencester are all within an easy drive, as are the cultural and scenic attractions of Oxford, Blenheim Palace and Stratford Upon Avon which are popular day excursions. An ideal base for the Horse Trials at Badminton and Gatcombe Park and racing at Cheltenham. National Trusts Newark Park is a few miles away as well as many historic houses including Berkeley Castle, Chavenage House and Sudeley Castle. The choice of attractions and things to see and do is huge and you will need to return to see and explore it all.

Amenities: both properties have ample parking. Bed linen, towels, electric and night storage heating included. Wi-fi is available outside the estate office. Regret no smoking. 2 dogs welcome. Additional info: there is a restaurant on site which is closed on a daily basis, but can be pre-booked for groups of 15 people or more by prior arrangement. However, there is delicious home-cooked take away food available from the office. Please phone the office 24 hours in advance of your stay if you require take away food.The restaurant, manor and cottages also adapt well and are occasionally used as an unforgettable setting for weddings, gatherings of friends, meetings and corporate events. Laundry service available (extra charge applies). Location: pub and shop 1 mile in village of Uley. Arrival: 3.30pm.

Completely self-contained, this converted stone byre offers seclusion for couples and offers delightful views towards Uley village and down towards the manor house. This traditional cottage is laid out on one floor and offers ONE double bedroom. Bathroom: with shower over bath and WC. Lounge/diner: with TV/DVD. Kitchen: with electric oven and hob, fridge and microwave. Outside: seating area.
