Bourton-on-the-Water, celebrated as one of the most attractive villages of the Cotswolds, lies in the charming Windrush Valley, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

The shallow river Windrush flows through the centre spanned by low arched bridges flanked by wide village greens and lovely period Cotswold stone buildings. An ideal base for touring The Cotswolds with a host of attractions being within a short drive including Malmesbury Abbey Longleat Safari Park, Gloucestershire and Warwickshire Steam Railway National Waterways Museum, numerous National Trust properties and gardens and much more. Visit towns like Stow-on-the-Wold, Cheltenham, Shakespeare's Stratford-on-Avon and Cirencester. Sporting and leisure facilities in the area include golf at Naunton Downs and Burford, racing at Stratford, Cheltenham and Worcester while the surrounding countryside provides beautiful walking and riding along a network of footpaths and bridleways. After a busy day, enjoy the delights within walking distance including Birdland, The Motor Museum, The Model Museum, numerous shops, pubs and restaurants.

The accommodation has been recently refurbished yet retains all its original charm and character and is arranged over three floors and offers THREE bedrooms: 1 small double and 1 child's 2' 6" single with sloping ceiling on the second floor accessed via steep cottage stairs. 1 master double on the first floor with flatscreen TV. Bathroom: with roll-top bath and WC on the first floor. The ground floor has a separate WC. Lounge/diner: with feature original stone fireplace with woodburner, TV and DVD. Kitchen/breakfast room: with cooker, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave. Utility: external with washer/dryer. Outside: enclosed garden and patio area with seating and feature covered well. Amenities: parking for 1 car. Bed linen, towels, wi-fi, electric and central heating included. 1 dog welcome. Location: pubs, shops and restaurants all walking distance. Arrival: 3pm.

Dogs are charged at £20.00 per week per dog or £3.00 per day per dog for short breaks.
