Most of the time our holiday properties book out for the Full week (7 nights), however there are times during some Off Peak periods or last minute where Short Breaks may be arranged with certain properties. They can be either 3, 4, 5 or 6 nights and are priced accordingly. Please remember that all short break enquiries have to be checked prior to booking, simply find your perfect cottage, get in touch and we will help finalise your enquiry either email or phone our Reservation Team .

Dorset

Sandbanks Peninsula Beach

A small peninsula, Sandbanks itself houses some of the most exclusive properties in the world and its nearby beach won’t disappoint. A vast stretch of golden sand, it’s the perfect bucket and spade beach for families, offers romance for couples and is easily accessible to all. There’s very good disabled access and the beach facilities include disabled toilets as well as convenient access to cafés. There’s lifeguard cover in the summer months.

Alum Chine Beach, Bournemouth

A Blue Flag award-winning beach, Alum Chine is quieter than a lot of its counterparts and offers safe, high quality bathing water; making it a popular choice with families. With good disabled access to the beach and nearby disabled toilets, it’s also conveniently located near an array of shops, cafes and other local attractions, like the Alum Chine Tropical Gardens. There’s lifeguard cover in the summer months. Dogs are welcome between October-May.


Somerset

Minehead Beach

Accessible for wheelchair users, Minehead beach has a mix of sand, shingle and pebbles and is very popular with visitors throughout the summer months. With views across the Bristol Channel and Wales it’s the perfect place to sit back and enjoy its pretty surroundings. Great for bathing, there’s no surf, but a wide range of shops and cafes only a stone’s throw from the beach. There’s disabled facilities, family facilities and pay-and-display parking.

Weston-Super-Mare

A popular beach, regularly used for events such as T4 On the Beach, Weston-Super-Mare benefits from being one of the longest, naturally occurring beaches in the UK. Its miles of golden sand appeal to all, whilst excellent facilities cater to the masses. There’s wheelchair access and facilities and many convenient amenities located close by, to ensure visitors are well fed and looked after. Dogs are welcome between October-May.


Cornwall

Summerleaze Beach, Bude

Situated within easy reach of Bude town centre, Summerleaze is popular with visitors throughout the summer months. Quite uniquely, it has a large breakwater and features a tower which protects the small harbour at the mouth of the Bude canal. For wheelchair users, there’s the option of hiring a wheelchair to explore the sands. This can be arranged from the office near the lifeboat centre, for £5 per day. Close to a range of amenities, cafés restaurants, toilet facilities and shops are located just a short walk/drive from the beach.

Fistral Beach, Newquay

One of the most popular beaches in the UK and a hot-spot for surfers, hosting many high profile surf competitions throughout the year, Fistral beach is well equipped to cater for all. Its vast expanse of sand attracts many and with cafés, surf hire and surf school located just above the sands, it’s a convenient spot too. Not only is disabled access and parking adjacent to the sands, but for wheelchair users or those unsteady on their feet, you can also hire an All-Terrain Sand Chair.


Devon

Saunton Sands, North Devon

A three mile stretch of golden sand backed by imposing sand-dunes give this beach a secluded feel in parts, Saunton beach should appeal to many. Excellent for surfing and other water-sports, it’s an ideal ‘bucket and spade’ beach for families, whilst romantics can take a walk and lose themselves in the dramatic scenery. Parking is situated just off the beach, with easy access for wheelchair users. A shop, disabled toilets and The Sands Café are also situated close by.

Teignmouth Main Beach, South Devon

A popular beach throughout the summer, Teignmouth stretches from the River Teign towards Dawlish and is a mixture of sand and shingle. Made popular by the Victorians, it still retains much of its traditional seaside charm and offers stunning views across the coast. Perfect for families, local amenities conveniently located nearby make Tiegnmouth a very accessible beach. Easy access adds to the appeal and parking can be found nearby. Dogs are also welcome between October to April.
