Plymouth

Steeped in vast amounts of history dating back centuries, the regional capital of Devon & Cornwall Plymouth truly is a city of discovery. Encompassing its unique maritime tradition, with great local and international cuisine, and modern shopping facilities, this vibrant modern city has something to offer everyone.

Newquay

Newquay situated on the North Cornwall Coast is the largest resort in Cornwall and self styled surfing capital of Britain. Once an isolated fishing community it still has an unspoilt harbour. The breathtaking Rivera’s rugged soaring cliffs alternate with sheltered coves and thundering surf with secluded rock pools, smugglers’ caves and soft, golden sands stretching for seven miles.

Bude

Bude is situated on the Atlantic Heritage Coast and has been attracting visitors since the Victorian times. Approximately 8 miles from the North Cornwall/Devon border it is an ideal location with which to explore the surrounding unspoilt coastline and superb sandy beaches. It was notorious for the wreckers in the 19th Century when many shipwrecks came to ground off the rugged coast.

St Agnes

St Agnes is a wonderful picturesque village perched on a hillside overlooking Trevaunance Cove situated half way between St Ives and Newquay on the North Coast of Cornwall. St Agnes is the ideal location for those who enjoy walking. Whether short or long walks, coastal or inland, moderate or challenging, St Agnes can provide all of these, as well as spectacular scenery along the way.

Falmouth

With the third deepest natural harbour in the world, Falmouth has a maritime history second to none. With the foreboding Pendennis Castle built by Henry 8th guarding the entrance to the port town, Falmouth grew in importance over the centuries and today is still the starting point for many world wide seafaring challenges, most recently with Ellen Macarthur, as well as being a port of choice to many cruise lines.

Woolacombe

Woolacombe is a glorious seaside town ideal for exploring the stunning South West Coast Path, the spectacular sandy beaches and the many other attractions nearby. Live music is almost always on at the Red Barn, situated in the centre of the town and a great meeting place. A selection of small independent shops offer interesting shopping for souvenirs or perhaps some new stylish beachwear.

Weymouth

Founded as a ‘resort’ by King George III in the 18th Century Weymouth is situated approximately halfway along the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site, a 95-mile stretch of coastline famed for its varied geology and unique landforms. It offers a beautiful sandy beach with golden sands and a historic fishing harbour with an intriguing ‘lifting’ road bridge and a shopping centre only yards from the beach.
