Short Breaks


Most of the time our holiday properties book out for the Full week (7 nights), however there are times during some Off Peak periods or last minute where Short Breaks may be arranged with certain properties. They can be either 3, 4, 5 or 6 nights and are priced accordingly. Please remember that all short break enquiries have to be checked prior to booking, simply find your perfect cottage, get in touch and we will help finalise your enquiry either email or phone our Reservation Team .

Surfing in Cornwall

The South West is a surfing hot spot with surfers flocking to its infamous shores year-round. Great breaks, beautiful beaches and fantastic resorts offering surf schools, courses, competitions and events are all a big draw.

Surf Cornwall

Cornwall is one long coastline dotted with breaks for surfers of every ability. It’s also home to the Relentless Boardmasters, a sport and music festival which includes the Men’s Pro 5 Star WQS surf competition, vert skate and BMX contests and a whole host of gigs attracting big name artists.

Surf Devon

Both the north and south coasts of Devon offer some fantastic surf spots, with popular resorts such as Croyde and Woolacombe in the north and Bantham in the south. Surf and sport events, music and more are on the cards at Croyde’s annual summer Gold Coast Oceanfest event.

Surf Somerset

Even with its relatively short coastline, Somerset offers a couple of surprising surf opportunities for more experienced surfers. Porlock Weir offers a nice wave in good conditions and for those up for a bit of a challenge, Somerset surfing also includes the infamous Severn Bore.

Surf Dorset

Bournemouth now boasts the UK’s first artificial reef, which has changed surfing prospects in the county for the better. With its miles of coastline, there are also plenty of coves and bays offering surf in the right conditions.
