Most of the time our holiday properties book out for the Full week (7 nights), however there are times during some Off Peak periods or last minute where Short Breaks may be arranged with certain properties. They can be either 3, 4, 5 or 6 nights and are priced accordingly. The Fowey Royal Regatta – August: The Fowey Royal Regatta is a weeklong sailing event hosting a variety of boat races. It is part of the Fowey Carnival week, which also includes events such as a carnival processions, a display by the Red Arrows, gig racing, firework displays and much more.
Newquay Relentless Boardmasters – August: This annual sport and music festival is the setting for the Men’s Pro 5 Star WQS surf competition, vert skate and BMX contests and a whole host of gigs featuring top line artists.
Falmouth Oyster Festival – October: To celebrate the official start of the oyster harvesting season, Falmouth puts on a party! Over 4 days there are tasty oysters and seafood dishes to try, as well as cookery demonstrations and a variety of live music.
North Devon and Exmoor Walking Festival – Spring Festival April/May, Autumn Festival September
This biannual festival is made up of guided walks around the beautiful North Devon countryside, many with themes like art and nature, photographic and foodie.
Appledore Book Festival – October
Originally started as a means of saving the village’s library from closure, the annual book festival has grown from strength to strength and boasts an impressive line up of authors.
Exeter Food Festival– April/May
Held in the courtyard of Exeter Castle and the surrounding Northernhay Gardens, Exeter Food Festival is a celebration of West Country food and drink. It features national TV celebrities, cookery demonstrations and workshops and hands-on family activities.
Yeovil Air Day– July
The skies above RNAS Yeovil are full of action as vintage and modern aircraft perform displays to highlight RNAS Yeovilton Squadrons’ role in past and present operations.
Bath Christmas Market - November/December
In the run-up to Christmas each year traditional wooden chalets selling unique, handmade and unusual gifts, decorations and food items fill the area between Bath Abbey and the Roman Baths, transforming it into a bustling Christmas market.
Lyme Regis Arts Fest – September
A week-long festival in and around Lyme Regis celebrating the arts, including an art trail through the town, various exhibitions, opportunities to meet artists in their studios and workshops to learn new skills such as painting, stained glass, dance, pottery and photography.
Camp Bestival Music Festival – July/August
This extraordinary festival is a mixture of music, magic, performers, storytelling, freestyle sports, food and much more and promises to be fun for all the family.
