To the south, the hidden coves and resorts of this Cornish coast can be easily reached, whilst to the north is the great expanse of Bodmin moor. Places of interest include the guildhall with clock tower, home to the town museum and tourist information.
Approx 10 miles away are the beaches of Looe and Millendreath or slightly further along the Rame peninsula is the great expanse of Whitsand Bay. These beaches are all sandy and great for the family to enjoy.
Liskeard has a large character bar and a la carte restaurant serving quality local produce or some local traditional pubs and cellar bistros.
Sterts Arts and Environmental Centre is an exciting complex comprising of an art gallery and a theatre, where live music is performed in an original outdoor venue.
Leisure facilities are available with indoor sports and fitness centre and an all–weather football and hockey pitch. Swimming pool, gym, squash courts are available within the complex.
